As a trial attorney, Lauren is an expert at evidentiary rules and tactics, as well as New York and New Jersey court procedures. However, as a mediator, Ms. Friend is aware of alternative dispute resolution techniques that may salvage otherwise protracted litigation scenarios. In addition, Ms. Friend has extensive Family Law experience ranging from custody, child support, and visitation to orders of protection and paternity matters.
Lauren Friend is well-skilled in determining those situations that require a relatively simple and amicable mediation and settlement negotiation, as opposed to those requiring complex financial discovery, custody litigation, and forensic involvement. Ms. Friend expresses constant commitment, patience, and dedication to her clients whether through composed mediation methods or intricate and aggressive litigation.
